Who is Dublin Herbalist and when did you start the business?

Dublin Herbalists was founded in 2012 by myself, Claire Brett, Dip. Herb., ND.

What is the history of Dublin Herbalist?

Indulging a new hobby, I began developing recipes for a simple moisturiser made from entirely natural ingredients in my home kitchen. My homemade cream proved so popular with family and friends that I launched Dublin Herbalists in 2013. Initially selling online and with the products being stocked in the first shop in January 2014, Dublin Herbalists’ ethos and product range has since enjoyed a dedicated and ever-increasing fanbase in Ireland and abroad.

What is your brand and what does it mean to you and your customer base?

We are all- natural, Irish- made skincare for the face, body, baby and bath. The brand stands for quality and accessibility to healthy, wholesome skincare. We are a fully Irish-owned and staffed business and all of our products are created and blended by hand in Ireland. Our brand is trusted and loved by our Irish customers both in Ireland and abroad.

What primary packaging do you use for your products?

We use mainly glass and tin for the products and our outer cartons are totally compostable and made from Earth Pact material, which is made from food waste.

What do you look for in a supplier partnership?

We look for a supplier that offers quality products at competitive prices. We look for efficient and friendly customer service and this includes quick response times to: queries, requests for quotes and resolution of any issues that may arise. Lifestyle ticks all of these boxes for us.

Why did you choose to work with  Lifestyle Packaging?

We found Lifestyle to hold much of the products that we require at great prices. Communication has always been easy and efficient. Deliveries arrive on time and always in order

What are your plans for Dublin Herbalist (i.e. growth, domination of ROI)?

We are always innovating and formulating and our aim is to stay at the forefront of Irish- made skincare. We are launching into many more stores in Ireland this year and now that things have opened up, we are looking towards the USA for further partnerships.
